Tom Scampion
About
Tom has more than 25 years of experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of business systems and controls—particularly in the field of financial-crime risk. He has led many of the largest global regulatory investigations and remediation programs in the area of financial crime, as well as the design and delivery of financial-crime operating models for major institutions. Tom has worked closely with regulators, law enforcement, and counsel in the United States, Europe, and Asia, gaining significant expertise in the development and implementation of analytics by having run both a global risk analytics practice and technology firms. He has also led more than 100 reviews of financial-crime systems and controls and conducted numerous global enterprisewide risk assessments. Before joining AlixPartners, he was a partner at Deloitte responsible for the firm’s EMEA financial-crime business. Tom has a master’s degree in politics, philosophy, and economics from the University of Oxford.
