Valentina Quadri is the Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance Audit at Goldman Sachs, where she leads the firm’s global strategy and assurance framework in mitigating financial crime risks. Based in London, she has dedicated over fourteen years to shaping and strengthening Goldman Sachs’ approach to financial crime compliance, audit governance, and regulatory assurance.

Before assuming her current role in 2024, Valentina served as Senior Audit Manager and Vice President of Internal Audit, overseeing EMEA Compliance and Legal Audit functions, including Financial Crime Compliance audits. Her tenure reflects a deep commitment to ensuring the highest standards of transparency, ethics, and control within complex global financial environments.

Earlier in her career, Valentina worked at BNY Mellon in Brussels, where she contributed to internal audit and risk management functions. Her broad expertise spans anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), and regulatory compliance oversight.

Valentina holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and is widely recognized for her leadership in driving innovation and integrity in audit practices across the financial services sector.
