Malin Helgesen

About

Malin is specialized in advising clients on international standards and emerging regulation of business and human rights. She has long experience from advising the full range of business organizations (from corporate boards, to local work sites) on all matters within the business and human rights field across all continents; from policy to practice; from internal risk management to external communication and handling of criticism and formal allegations of human rights abuse; from culture building to assurance processes.

She has previously worked as a corporate legal human rights counsel for many years. She has also been a regular panel speaker and lecturer in business and human rights at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her prior experience also includes more than a decade’s work as an attorney at other law firms in Sweden and Norway, and a senior advisory position on human rights at the Council of Ethics for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global.
