Lia van Broekhoven is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Human Security Collective. Before establishing HSC, she worked as a researcher, policy advisor, and development practitioner across Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, the UK, and the US, with organizations including the United Nations, World Bank, Cordaid, and the Natural Resources Institute. She helped establish the Global Nonprofit Coalition on FATF and actively contributes to discussions on nonprofit access to finance and counter-terrorism regulation.
