Laurent Cohen-Tanugi

About

A member of the Paris and New York Bars, Laurent has been in private practice as an international corporate lawyer for over 35 years. While a partner at major U.S. law firms and General Counsel of a multinational public corporation, he specialized in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and international arbitration. He is now the founder and managing partner of Cohen-Tanugi Avocats, a boutique law firm specializing in white-collar crime and anti-corruption compliance, and remains the only member of the French Bar among a handful of European professionals to have served as FCPA independent corporate monitor as well as World Bank integrity monitor. He has authored numerous books and taught at the Harvard and Stanford Law Schools.
