Laura Oakley is the Head of the Anti-Money Laundering Unit at HM Treasury. This unit oversees the UK’s Money Laundering Regulations and the 25 Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorist Financing supervisors. HM Treasury is currently taking forward reform in both of these areas, in line with commitments made under the Economic Crime Plan 2023-26.
