Kevin has been a wildlife crime officer for almost 22 years and is head of the UK national wildlife crime unit. The NWCU are a policing support unit who work with British police forces to tackle serious and organised wildlife crime. Kevin also has responsibility for overseeing the delivery of domestic wildlife crime policing priorities and leading the UK’s response in the fight against the illegal wildlife trade. He is also the chair of the Interpol wildlife crime working group, a team of global experts in the ENS field that consult, support, and assist wildlife crime enforcers across the globe with their knowledge, contacts, and experience.
