John Upton is Chief Ethics and Compliance officer for the Civil Aerospace Business at Rolls-Royce Plc.  Prior to this he was Ethics and Compliance Director for Africa, Russia – Caspian , North Sea and Europe at Baker Hughes Inc.  John’s background is as a specialist  economic and white collar crime prosecutor and enforcement lawyer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Oxford and a Masters and Doctorate in legal philosophy from the London School of Economics.
