Giovanni is a Magistrate and Legal Advisor of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, General Directorate on Global Issues. He holds the following positions:

Italian delegate in the multilateral anti-corruption Fora (G7, G20 ACWG, OECD Wgb, UNODC CoSP – currently is the Chair of the G20 ACWG).

Lead examiner in multilateral peer reviews mechanisms of both UNCAC and OECD ABC.

Scientific manager and coordinator of relevant international technical assistance programs (EU and Italian programs for Latina American and Caribbean Region as EL PAcCTO, EUROFRONT, COPOLAD, FALCONE-BORSELLINO, PAESCA).

Director of the scientific journal “Il Diritto penale della Globalizzazione” (The criminal law of globalization) and author of numerous research, monographs and publications on national and international legal journals.

Professor of Anti-Mafia Law and Judicial Diplomacy

Member of the Scientific Committee of Eurispes and Vice-President of the International Eurispes Observatory.
