Brian is Managing Director and the Global Head of Sanctions Compliance at UBS, where he is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. and international economic sanctions and export controls. Previously, Brian was Head of Sanctions for the Americas and OFAC Officer at Barclays.

He previously served on the UN Security Council’s 1267 (Al-Qaida and Taliban) Sanctions Monitoring Team and as Attorney-Advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of the General Counsel – Office of the Chief Counsel for Foreign Assets Control. Brian graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and practiced law at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington, D.C.
