About

A career banker and risk professional with 18 years’ experience in Economic Crime Prevention. Amanda is currently the Financial Crime Prevention Director for the Retail Bank at Lloyds Banking Group, covering all aspects of financial crime, across a portfolio of more than 32 million customers. She has many years’ experience in the 2nd line of defence having been the Group’s Head of Economic Crime Policy, steering the Group through its response to various new legislative requirements, such as the Bribery Act, various ‘failure to prevent’ offences, and the onslaught of new sanctions regimes in the past 5 years. She also worked alongside peers across the regulated sector to help shape the Government’s Economic Crime Reform programme and has been a member of the JMLSG Editorial Panel.
