Martina Cont is the Head of Processes & Operations for Group Anti-Financial Crime at Generali, based in Milan. She leads the design and execution of the group’s AFC strategy, overseeing technology-driven transformation, data governance, and operational efficiency across global functions. Her work focuses on leveraging advanced analytics and automation to enhance financial crime controls, significantly improving alert handling and risk detection while managing large-scale projects and budgets.

Prior to joining Generali, she held consulting roles at Deloitte and Accenture, specialising in financial crime, compliance, and process optimisation. She began her career in AML compliance, building strong expertise in risk assessment, regulatory frameworks, and technology-enabled solutions.
