Ashufta is the Deputy Director at FCDO responsible for the Foreign Secretary’s Illicit Finance Summit next year. She’s led investment partnerships for the UK (FCDO, BEIS and DFID) with partner governments, banks and investors in Africa, Asia and Latin America, particularly on infrastructure, energy and nature. Ashufta trained as a mechanical engineer and enjoys tennis in her spare time.
