Ashwin is Head of Global Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Compliance at AstraZeneca. He sits within the Global Compliance Investigations team and has been with the corporation for over a decade.

A highly experienced subject matter expert in ABAC and fraud-related investigations, Ashwin has an M.A. in Law from Cambridge University and was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn. He previously qualified and practised as a solicitor and a barrister, both in-house and in private practice.

Ashwin has an outstanding track record of successfully delivering effective ABAC & Anti-Fraud risk management programmes, corporate internal investigations and assurance projects in high-risk jurisdictions. His diverse professional record has spanned various multinational organisations including Shell International; Barclays Bank plc; and BG Group, as well as 39 Essex Chambers and Dentons.
