FATF lifts Indonesia’s terrorist-financing sanctions rating to fully compliant, adding further momentum to its technical reform programme

Indonesia’s third enhanced follow-up report upgrades Recommendation 6 on targeted financial sanctions related to terrorism and terrorist financing from partially compliant to compliant. Indonesia now records 7 compliant and 30 largely compliant ratings, while gaps remain under Recommendations 8, 25 and 28 on non-profit organisations, beneficial ownership of legal arrangements and DNFBP supervision.
